Award-winning country house built in 1758 to the design of John and James Adam for Patrick Home, Laird of Wedderburn. Visitors can see Patricks specatcular gold and silver costume worn at the Royal Court in Berlin in 1750, pre-eminent collection of Chippendale furniture and the largest picture gallery in a Scottish country house, now the first outstation of the National Galleries of Scotland.
Nature detective and "Paxton Ted" competitions for children. The estate has woodland trails, riverside walks, gardens, adventure playgrounds, red squirrel hide, highland cattle and croquet.
Shops, stables, tearoom and a lively exhibition programme.
