One of the most elegant buildings in Glasgow's city centre, it takes its name from the 'hospital' built on this site in 1641 by the Hutcheson brothers.

This unusual tower-house was built in the early 15th century. It was besieged in 1489, with Mons Meg, the Great Cannon, being dragged from Edinburgh to take part in the assault. Superb views from the top of the tower.
