Threave Garden is delightful in all seasons. It is best known for its spectacular springtime daffodils, but the herbaceous beds are colourful in summer and the trees and heather garden are striking in autumn. Guided walks and amateur gardening classes available. New Plant Centre.
Threave Estate provides a good example of integrated management of the land, taking account of agriculture, forestry and nature conservation. Waymarked trails guide visitors through a variety of landscapes. The estate is a wildfowl refuge and the Countryside Centre in the old stables highlights nature conservation, horticulture, forestry and agriculture at Threave.

Walled garden and glasshouses: all year, daily 9.30am – 5.00pm.
Visitor Centre, Countryside Centre and exhibition: February, March, November and December, daily 10.00am – 4.00pm. April to October, daily 9.30am – 5.30pm.
House: March to October, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 11.00am – 4.00pm (guided tours only, admission by timed ticket).
