This outstanding 50 acre garden, part of a Highland estate, is impressively sited on a peninsula on the shores of Loch Ewe. The warm currents of the sheltered Gulf Stream help to create here an oasis of colour and fertility where exotic plants from many countries flourish on a latitude more northerly than Moscow, giving an almost continual display of colour throughout the year. Here you can see the tallest Australian gum trees in Britain, sweetly scented Chinese rhododendrons, and unusual species from New Zealand, Chile and South Africa.
Visitor centre, well stocked shop, plant sales area and a spacious licensed restaurant with woodland views.
