The accommodation comprises a large entrance porch with utility room and separate toilet, an open plan ground floor with kitchen, lounge and dining areas.
A spiral staircase leads to a galleried upper floor with a shower room and toilet, and two bedrooms. One has an American King size bed with a unique glass feature wall using the old screens from the classroom. The other has two single beds.
Comfortably furnished, Sycamore Hall is fully equipped and has the original log fire as well as storage heating. There is a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, iron & ironing board. Each bedroom has a radio alarm clock, towelling bathrobe and hair drier. Towels, linen, logs, electricity and gas are included.
A selection of board games, reading material, tourist books and brochures is available for guests as well as the use of the garden alongside with the view of Slains Castle and the sea.
Half a mile south of the village of Cruden Bay on the north east coast of Scotland, it is ideally situated for exploring the Castle, Coast and Whisky Trails, bird watching at Loch of Strathbeg, Forvie Nature Reserve and Bullers of Buchan and golfing on one of the many famous Golf Courses within an hour's travelling time. The Golf Course, Slains Castle overlooking the cliffs, and the long sandy beach are all within walking distance.
